We painted the paneling and added some moldings...that isn't quite finished....but we are getting there. Hope you enjoy the lookie see!
My hubby's side of the bed....the book is a romance novel with my husband and I as the main characters.
I prayed and prayed that the chaise would fit...and it did!!...please overlook hubby's shoes!!
I tried several times to get this pic clear...but I think the light is messing me up...
Our college pics!!
I adore my lampshades in this room and I tried to get the color...they look creamy gold when off, but when on, they are rust....
Here you can see that the trim is not all done...
My side of the bed...
My collection of fancy boxes....
Does this help with the color??
Our wedding picture and a picture about 5 years ago on a cruise. I love this picture...
This is on the door...
Nope, I do not have a door knob yet...
But I will soon!!

What an awesome bedroom!!! No WAY can I even tell it's a mobile home. You have made it so very lovely! AND your furniture is beautiful. We are living in our RV and it has a queen size mattress on a full size 'bed.' There is one bit of space on either side of the bed to stand up. To get ON the bed - well, you just crawl right up and in from the door.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing every picture of your wonderful home!

ReplyDeleteI am keeping you in prayer dear friend that the chemo is easy. Blessings to you dear one.
Your bedroom is gorgeous! Love the furniture, especially the chaise! :)
ReplyDeleteHi CeeKay!
ReplyDeleteI love your bedroom. It looks so grand. I think your large scale furniture makes it look even bigger than it probably is. I love painted paneling. I have some paneling I want to put in my spare bedroom/ Den/ computer room...and I am going to paint it once it's up there.
I learned a tip from Elaine (Sunny Simple Life) when taking pictures... hold a small white envelope or piece of paper up next to your camera's lens just out of the shot to shield the light from the window. It works!
I just use a small point and shoot, you know? This works when there is plenty of natural light and your flash is off, too. Just play around with it and see what kind of shots you get. Hope that helps.
...not a photographer, I DON'T EVEN pretend to be on my blog! Pat
Ceekay,
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see pics of your home I can NOT believe it is a doublewide. You have made it just so cozy. Love the painted paneling and your furniture is gorgeous! The college pics are fun. I have an empty frame that needs filled in our bedroom. Think I will add a picture of hubby and I at a college dance. Your collection of boxes are sweet and I love the trunk! I think you have done a fabulous job!
Hugs,
Jann

Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteCeekay,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you like angels but I was wondering what an angel on each side of the plant on your headboard would like...they would have to be substantial and I don't know how much room you have from the top of your headboard to the ceiling but I think it would be very pretty.
hugs and prayers
Wow, you really did make it your home. That personal touch makes all the difference, and isn't the effort worth it? I live in a mobile home and I have been trying to decorate it, so I might use some of your pictures for inspiration. http://www.deltahomecenter.com
ReplyDeleteYour mobile home looks like how I want mine to look someday. Too bad we are thinking about other trailer parks to live in as the one we live in now has had water pressure issues since 2010 and probably even before that- https://mobilehomeparkreviews.wordpress.com/2015/01/23/bexley-mobile-home-park-is-no-stranger-to-water-problems/
